Building a phone extension list for your Skype PBX

Extensions: These are the Skype users that Skype Forwarder will will handle. If you answer the call yourself or if the remote party cancels the call Skype Forwarder can detect this and cancel automation. Incoming Skype calls that are handled by the internal extensions list can be routed to individual phone numbers or to SAM (Skype Answering Machine). If the call is sent to the SAM it can also provide a custom message for each user. Go Back

Catchall: When an incoming Skype call begins and the calling party's user name is not in Skype Forwarder's extension list a single action will be performed

Ignore the call (default).
Send it to SAM with the default greeting message.
Dial a default forwarding phone number (probably your cell phone).

How Skype® can help Forwarder decide to answer Skype® calls

Ignore Skype status:Skype Forwarder will automatically answer incoming Skype calls without regard to the current Skype connection status. Go Back

Skype status dependent:Skype Forwarder will automatically answer incoming Skype calls based on the current Skype connection status. The class of statuses is not complete because, for example, if you have set your status to invisible you can not receive incoming Skype calls. Go Back

Answering: This is the time Skype Forwarder will wait from the time an incoming connection is detected until it answers. Skype Forwarder can detect if you have answered the call yourself or if the remote party cancels the call. Go Back
